Learning to read

I can read words I have seen before. I have taken reading classes but they did not understand to read I need to know how to pronounce the word and can not spell well enough to look up in dictionary or understand the diffrent sounds like E and A. Is there a vidio/audio progham that could help, I learn by seeing but in this case I need to hear and see. I had to make serval phone call of spelling help to write this.

Thank you

There are now lots of free online sources that will convert written text to voice. The quality is not too bad though the intonation is obviously that of a machine. However, you can hear pretty good audio "recordings" of any text you want.

  • I don't remember the names of the ones I tried but you can Google "text to speech converter" or "text to voice converter" and find many such programs.
