Learning how to use "succumb" is it correct?

To succumb my need, i apply for the agriculture degree.

I think the agricultural degree will succumb wealth

According to the example:

The family agreed to undergo testing to aid the research and though the names of family members who will succumb is known in the laboratories the family agreed they didn't want to be told.


Geting the koronavirus care / treatment will make me succumb and free from virus.
