learning function

'the function of software that remembers the past inputs
and uses them for facilitation'
Is this function called the 'learning function' and is it
the only term for that?

Thank you.

Hi, If I think of my brain as a kind of software, that sounds like quite a good description. However, 'facilitation' is not an easily understandable word here. What does the software produce as an output?

I see. Anyway, 'learning function' is a good term, right?
