The past form of 'learn' as in 'learned' is pronounced with a 'd' sound. The 'n' is a voiced "lenis" sound, hence it is voiced lenis 'd' insted of voiceless fortis 't'. The same goes with dream.

learned and dreamed are pronounced with a final d.
learnt and dreamt are pronounced with a final t.

In AmE you are likely to hear learned and dreamt.

Hi,

The rule of thumb is that Americans will typically use the 'ed' endings for simple past while the British will sometimes use 't'

Please be aware that there are typically three pronunciation endings for verbs in the simple past with 'ed' endings e.g. :

dreamed (d)
worked (t)
motivated ( id)

Hope this helps!
