Learn / be learning / learn about~

Could you explain to me the difference in terms of meaning among the following sentences, by giving some example of a daily life?

1. I learn English.
2. I am learning English.
3. I learn about English.

Also, I am not sure whether "I am learning about English" sounds right and natural. Could you tell me about it as well?

3. I learn about English.— I study the history, demography, linguistics, etc. of the English language most of the time.
