Learn

Hello, could you please help me with the following sentences?
Does the sentence I learnt irregular verbs yesterday mean that now I know them? When I want to express only the activity of learning which I did yesterday should I say I was learning irregular verbs yesterday?
And how about I was learning irregular verbs for 2 hours yesterday or I learnt irregular verbs for 2 hours yesterday?

Thank you
