Lean down // bend

Hi,

Does "lean down" mean "bend oneself"? If yes, what are their differences?

Top answer

Yes, except that is usually expressed "bend over" rather than "bend oneself". There is no real difference except that "bent over" would put too much stress on the act in that setting.
