Vocabulary

lead roles/starring

Hello,

I have several questions:

1)Can I say this for costumes?

The costumes demand rather elaborate work because they are rich with plenty interesting details.

2)Can I say "I had to wait to collect enough money" or is there a better verb to replace 'collect'?

3)Can I use 'hope' and 'eventually' in this sentence?

I hope that in this way my hobby will eventually become my profession

4) How should I finish this sentence? In lead roles or starring?

He liked her work and he hired her for the shooting of «Lady the Musketeer» with Gerard Depardieu and Natassja Kinski in lead roles/starring.

5) Is 'tore out' ok? What abou 'sword duels'?

I dressed Natassja, I repaired the costumes if during the shooting something tore out. It was really interesting to deliberately make holes on the costumes which were not supposed to be seen until a certain moment (wounds due to sword duels and the like).

Thank you
