Laura's only 14.....

I don't think this sentence is correct, “ Laura's only 14, but when she puts make-up on, you would think she was 17.” Shouldn't it be “you would think that she is 17”?

Hasibrahman you would think she was 17 'would' goes with the past tense 'was'. These are imagined situations. He is/was breathing so hard you would think he was going to die!
