Laundry

Hello,

Is it correct to say "She gives her clothes to a/the laundry?"

I know I can say "She dry-cleans her clothes" but "dry" implies washing without water. Is there any expression which implies having one's clothes washed in a laundry without specyfing what kind of washing it is?

Thank you
