Hi, i want to know American language is more close to Latin language or British?

Your teacher said that British English is closer to Latin than it is to American English? That's just ridiculously wrong. Is it possible that you misunderstood?

Now if your teacher said that British English is closer to Latin than American English is, I suppose that's possible -- I have no opinion on that.

Let me give you an example.
A sentence in Latin: Equo ne credite, Teucri! Quidquid id est, timeo Danaos et dona ferentis.
Translated into British English: Do not trust the horse, Trojans! Whatever it is, I fear the Greeks, even those bearing gifts.
Translated into American English: Do not trust the horse, Trojans! Whatever it is, I fear the Greeks, even those bearing gifts.
As you can see, in this case the British and American versions are exactly the same. They are very different from the Latin. Sometimes there are differences between British and American English, but they are usually minor, and we rarely have any difficulty understanding each other. Although there are many English words that are derived from Latin, no native English speaker who has not studied Latin, or a similar language, is likely to understand a single unfamiliar sentence written in Latin.
The principle language in most of North America, i.e. the United States of America and most of Canada, is English.
In Central America and South America the principle languages are Spanish and Portuguese which are related to Latin. In parts of Canada some people speak French, another Latin derived language.
