Lately

Hi there, I am not sure, but It seems right to use `lately`with the present progressive.
i.e. I am having problems with him lately.

Also, "I have been having problems with him lately."

"Lately" doesn't necessarily mean "presently." It's more like "recently."
You can even say, "I was having problems with him lately." "I had problems with him lately."

Hi there, I really appreciate your answer.

Well, a boss of mine almost ignored me (she gave me that "down look") when I said it was possible using it with both present continuous and past continuous, besides present perfect.
Is it too much for you to give me some literature of that?

I'm not sure what you're saying her position is.

She allows only present perfect?

Just offhand, I get four times as many Google hits for the continuous/progressive as for the perfect.

Of course that doesn't prove anything.

She´s my boss and she says it´s wrong its use with present continuous and past continuous. I´ve been looking on the internet but it´s really hard to find something about it.
Anyway, don´t bother wasting your time. Knowing that I am right is good enough to me.
