Lately

Hi,
can someone tell me if the subtle differences I see in the following sentences make sense? Provided they are ok...

I have had lots of weird dreams lately. (Lots of dreams in the past few days or weeks... I might have more, but this point in the interpretation depends on the context too)
I am having lots of weird dreams lately. (Lots of dreams in the recent past, and I feel I'm likely to have more)
I have lots of weird dreams lately. (Lots of dreams in the recent past, and I am almost sure I'll have more)

Thanks Emotion: smile

Lately makes the 3rd sentence sound wrong. The present progressive certainly brings the experience more firmly into the present, but I don't thing the difference is that distinct or consistent for native speakers. lately .

I see, thanks. On second thought, I don't like the third one much either.
Anyway, my problem was exactly such usage of "lately". I think I have heard sentences like "I don't feel very well lately" pretty often. Should that be "I am not feeling very well lately" instead?
I know "lately" is usually used with the present perfect, but how do I express a present situation implying that it is
