Vocabulary

Late results v. delayed results

hiya

i was wondering what the difference between these two may be. i understand both are "quite the same", but maybe for a native speaker it makes more of a difference?

cheers

I don't perceive any real difference between the two. If you were to say "latest results" versus "delayed results" then "latest" would mean the most recent results available and "delayed" would retain its original meaning of simply being delayed.
