Can I say this:

I will be late coming from Piano lessons.

Does it mean I will be late to an appointment?

I suppose it usually does, but not necessarily an appointment. For example, you don't make an appointment to have dinner with your family (or most people don't), yet you might be late for dinner because your piano lesson ran overtime.
