Last year's total number/The total of last year's number?

Please look at this sentence.

"Reports showed the court sector handled over 330,000 cases, making up 92 per cent of last year's total number, despite hardships, including the shortage of cadres and facilities."

In this sentence,
[1] Can I write " 92 per cent of the total of last year's number" instead of "92 per cent of last year's total number"?
[2] Can I replace "with","plus", or "as well as" for "including" in the sentence?

Thank you for your answers in advance.
