Last couple of times

Is 'last couple of times' usage not alike 'last couple of days' ? 'last couple of days' I have to use present perfect? With 'last couple of times' I cannot use present perfect?

Scenario: Hey nice shirt you have there! Is it new?

Are both of these correct? What do they mean?

1. I just didn't wear it when I was with you for the last couple of times.

2. I just haven't worn it when I was with you for the last couple of times.

Thanks.
