Last another five days

Hello everyone. I have a question.

Regarding the following two sentences:

(A) We only had enough food to last onother five days. .
(B) We only had enough food to last for another five days.

I don't think there's any problem with (A), but I'm not sure about (B). Is it also right in terms of grammar? if so, can we say that (B) is grammatically correct, but sounds a bit unnatural?
