Vocabulary

"language" as metaphor

Hi,

Is the following sentence correct? Am I using the word "language" suitably here?

"The language of tolerance is still the only language able to answer the language of hatred appropriately; it is a cliché, I know."

Thanks, AL

Windows comes with an equivalent to EF's "O" menu called Character Map. You can search for it using the search box in the Start menu. I have it pinned in the Start menu in Windows, and an equivalent installed in Linux.
Here are the lower case "e" choices in Character Map: èéêëeeeee?????????????.
