I want to take the Spanish placement test to fulfill my foreign language requirement. If I place in level 6 or higher will I still have to take a Spanish course? I know the exam is January 7th next year, but is it possible to take it earlier? Thank you for your time and please get back to me at your earliest convenience.

Your original is OK, PJ. I have just suggested a few more usual, I think, phrasings: I would like to take the Spanish placement test to satisfy my foreign language requirement. If I achieve level 6 or highe r, will I still need to take a Spanish course?
