landing the shuttle

NASA's Johnson Space Center offers a multitude of exhibits and interactive stations that give visitors the chance to simulate jumping on the moon, landing the shuttle and more.

Hi,
Does "landing the shuttle" in the above mean "visitors fly the shuttle and land it on the moon/earth" or "visitors get on the shuttle?" Thanks.
