Lady Luck

I have searched the Internet and found the
following site:
http://torontosun.canoe.ca/News/Canada/2005/10/28/1282193-sun.html
Acturally, I don't understand the key point of this story.
I know I'm asking too much, but if someone is interested
in this topic and could give me a very short summary of
the story, I'd be very happy.
1. Is Dance the Lady Luck and give luck to other people?
2. Does Dance herself get good luck?
Thank you.

00, but Faye Dance is the TV hostess's name, and the newspaper writer nicknames her ' lady luck ' because she hosted the lottery drawings on TV (and she is a lady). Lady Luck is also a personification of luckiness in gambler's parlance. The article appears to be her biography (perhaps she died, or is now in the news again for some reason), and the headline is playing on the pun (dual meaning) in 'Lady Luck' as I put forth above.

I cannot read the whole story without paying $10.00, but Faye Dance is the TV hostess's name, and the newspaper writer nicknames her 'lady luck' because she hosted the lottery drawings on TV (and she is a lady). Lady Luck is also a personification of luckiness in gambler's parlance.
