lack thereof

I always enjoy your live chat. I have to say though that I am not surprised that borrowers "especially younger ones" do not read over their loan paperwork. Our society has made it quite clear that people are no longer responsible for their actions or lack thereof.

lack of what, money or action?! I don't understand

I understand '' thereof'' here means '' concerning that, but the problem is i don't know what '' that '' is? Emotion: smile

Anyone help me!!![F]Emotion: smile

Lack of action. If an action of a "responsible person" were, for example, sending one's children to school, a lack of action would be failing to send them.
