"We are lacking three chairs here" \ "Three chairs are needed here\
there's lack of 3 chairs here \ We are short of 3 chairs
So question:
1) If all the avove are OK can you help me compose a sentence withot passive and so that chars will be the subject.
2) Are the following possible?
We are in lack of 3 chairs.
Are are shorting 3 chairs ( :\ ).

2. Three chairs are needed here – correct.
3. There's lack of 3 chairs here > There's a lack of 3 chairs here.
4. We are short of 3 chairs – correct.

Also:
