What's the difference between saying 'kudos' and 'bravo' and 'good for you'?

Thanks in advance

So when do you prefer to say bravo to one person?

And is there a similar expression too?

I rarely say 'Bravo'.
I quite often say Congratulations or Well done.

If you say it at all, it's "bravo" to a man and "brava" to a woman, and usually shouted after a great performance of an aria in an opera or a solo dance (pas seul) in a ballet. (It's actually an Italian word.)
