Know better , well acquainted, familiarized

Hi! everyone.

Could you tell me whether the following sentences are synonymous?

It was only after her death that I came to know him better.

It was only after her death that I got well acquainted with her.

It was only after her death that I got familiarized with her personality/identity(what's the difference?) better.
