Klassifying Klutz

Would someone be kind enough to help me out with the classification of this interrogatory sentence?
"What is your favorite hymn?"

Thank you so much! Lee

Hi, Lee, Can you make that a multiple choice question? I don't know what sort of classification system you are referring to. Thanks.

Thanks for replying, Jim. I need to know the subject of that sentence. And also, if you would be so kind, how would you turn that interrogative sentence into a declarative sentence? Lee

(P.S. If there were actually no facts, that in itself would be a fact!)

Hi Lee,

'What (hymn) is your favorite hymn?'

'What' is a pronoun, subject of the sentence. Re-casting to declarative brings you to: ' Your favorite hymn is Amazing Grace'', I suppose.

Yup! That Nietzsche was a strange guy, wasn't he?
