I am doing an analysis on 1 Samuel, 17 from the King James Bible 1611 authorised version and I would like to know why there is an "an" before helmet. Verse 17 "And saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head...." I presume it has something to do with french and indefinate articles etc., but i would like to know the history of this if possible. Thankyou,
Nicky
