There are three kinds of teacher, a teacher by teaching, a teacher by seeing and a teacher by hearing.

It does not make any sense to me.

There are three kinds of teacher, a teacher who robotically recites the textbook, a teacher who extends the textbook and models the answers and a teacher who is fascinating to listen to.
