Kinds of supporting idea?

As my English teacher taught me, there are many ways to make a supporting idea such as:

- Give the Reason

- Give example

- Concession

- Scenario

- Refutation

In 5 ways above, I'm confused with "concession" and "refutation". I find difficult to make a right way. Would you mind helping me with this issue?
