Kind(s) of + noun

Hi,

Some time ago I heard from AS that she said that when we have kind of + countable noun that noun should come in singular form and when kinds of + countable noun that noun should come in plural form.


Now which one of the following sentences are correct grammatically please?

Any kind of religious arguments

Any kind of applications

Or

Any kinds of religious arguments
