Kindly review my essay on part-time jobs. Thank you

Students prefer doing part-time jobs during their studies. What are the advantages or disadvantages of this?

Today educating children is becoming increasingly challenging due to rising fees. Thus, most of them choose to do part-time work when they are in a college or university. Income and experience are the two main benefits of this, while it also has some drawbacks.

When students do temporary jobs during their studies, they do not only generate income for themselves, but also gain experience. The money they earn is used to pay tuition fees and other expenses that helps them to have less dependency on their parents. Apart from this, students acquire useful working experience which many employers want from potential candidates. Therefore, by doing part-time job, they improve their employment prospects. In the movie namely, The University Life, a large number of college students, for instance, used to work temporarily in call centers so that they could improve their communication skills, which was a prerequisite for all jobs.

On the negative side, part-time job also bring some disadvantages to students. First, doing a job, regardless of temporary or full-time, together with studies is a challenging task itself. Many people fail to concentrate on one thing, and hence they suffer from stress. As a result, they contract various diseases, such as tension and high cholesterol. Since it is difficult to manage both the job and education together, another drawback is most people struggle in their education and ultimately leave it for pursuing permanent employment. In Bombay, the largest city of India, many parents, for example, compel their children to work part-time in law firms. Many of them leave their studies altogether for earning money.

In conclusion, although stress and abandoning education are the possible drawbacks of doing part-time work while studies, gaining experience and income are the benefits of this.
