Many schools these days have problems with poor student behaviors. Why do you think these problems occur? What could be done to tackle these problems?

Today the poor behavior of students has plagued many schools. The main reason of this problem is that most of them are supported by their parents. There are various ways by which this issue can be resolved.

Parents do not discipline children at home when they make any mistake. They fulfil all but every wish of them without thinking about its long-term impact on them. Thus, they presume that their parents would support them even if they are wrong. Plenty of secondary schools in Delhi, the capital of India, for example, complain about children’s' attitude, but their parents hardly pay any heed; hence, they continue their same behavior. This evidence proves that parents' attitude towards their children is the main cause of improper attitude of children.

In order to alleviate this problem, parents should inculcate discipline in their sons and daughters at home. That is to say that they should make them learn that giving respect to everyone is important and penalize them if they do not follow basic moral principles. They should refuse to support them when they come to know that their children are found guilty. In the movie, for instance, namely, The Principles, the lone father administered strict punishment to his sons when he was informed about their mischievous activities even though they were primary class student.

In conclusion, the inappropriate behavior of children is of concern to many schools. This is caused because children are not disciplined by parents. Teaching moral principles of life, especially discipline, to children is the effective remedy to this problem.
