Kindly help me to correct these sentences

As for the new procurement software, we can't put any comments / generate reports / attach images on the items received against our purchase orders in this software so that you do not get any valid receipt of items like what we received from the supplier exactly, even we can't send any delivery report upon arrival of goods at the warehouse. This will have a substantial impact on issuing the items to the corresponding site upon completion.

I am not sure what the slashes between the items mean. " I do not understand the "so that" part because it does not seem to be a consequence of the previous idea. I suggest you first write your ideas as shorter sentences, making these changes.

I am not sure what the slashes between the items mean. I am also confused about the use of "against" in the sentence because it does not make sense to me with "received." I do not understand the "so that" part because it does not seem to be a consequence of the previous idea. I suggest you first write your ideas as shorter sentences, making these changes. The slashes indicate options in question, maven.

Hello MM,

I had a question please?

What does "receive against" mean?

Thank you

The idea is that the item is received, and then it is matched 'against' the items listed in the purchase order to be sure what was received is what was ordered. The preposition 'against' is idiomatic for comparing lists, viewpoints, etc.

Thank you

How come maven didn't understand it if it's idiomatic?

I don't know. You'll have to ask him. Perhaps he has not had as much experience with bizspeak as I have. There are many idioms in BrE and in some fields which I have never met before.
