Kindly help!!!

1. Advani is seen representing just one of the various streams that constitute India's plurality & diversity

in above sentence the red marked word is it grammatically correct or it should be constitutes

2. So, this visit is not going to show anything in the ground

in the above sentence it should be on the ground rather then in the ground kindly let me know

3. Going by voting pattern so far, the uncertain state of the US economy continues to be concern for voters.

In the above sentence if i start sentence....Going by the voting patterns so far........ is this line correct?

EDIT: This sentence from Hindstan Times makes more sense to me:

Frankly, I don't know. But since the voting pattern in question is a certain and particular thing, I incline to using the article.

Sometimes articles are very tricky...
For example, here's one of my problems:

Could you try rewriting this in a better way, I am not sure I unders
