Kindly guide me in this

My friend often uses "Couldn't be able to " in almost every sentence

For ex: I couldn't be able to think like that

I couldn't be able to move

I couldn't be able to speak

Though I am not very good at English yet I think it is quite odd to use that way.

I may be wrong. I am not very sure . What is the correct way of saying ?

kindly help me and guide me in this.

No it is not correct. 'I couldn't' pretty much mean 'I wasn't able to' so your friend is repeating themself! I couldn't move...

I wasn't able to move (as above)

I am not able to move (present, I am trying to move, and I can't)

I am not able to speak
