Kindly correct my poem

My way
I sleep at night
to find peace
within me.
Distant stars
shine without rest
They are million
Of course,
Not alone in their way
Chasing footsteps
Never gone astray.
Here I am
walking on
my way.
Going astray,
I know.
Cos, I want to shine
But I am not a star
Bestowed upon with
Compassionate heart.
This is my life
My way.
