The client’s cheque was pending for a long time and he was not contactable as his mobile number was not operational. Hence, Ashutosh Raj personally visited the registered address. But the house was locked and neighbours informed him that the client, who was unmarried, expired in 2010 and even his parents are no more. He got the contact details of the client’s younger brother, who was the nominee and has been staying in Kolkata. Ashutosh Raj was constantly in touch with him and requested him to submit the claim documents at the nearest branch. Finally within 20 days of submitting the documents, he got the claim amount. He was very happy with the claim process turnaround time.
