Dear Mister Micawber,
This is quite interesting issue, but how about "You" capitalized in the midddle of a sentence?
May I not write that way to express my respect for anyone?

No. I'm sorry, Adam, but that is the strangest rule I have ever heard in 7 years here at English Forums. Who in the world suggested that to you?? The ONLY time we capitalize 'you' (besides at the beginning of a sentence) is when we re talking to ***.

Well, thanks, Mister Micawber, for our nice conversation.
Great to know what rules are in your region.
Unfortunately, the strangest rule for me is the fact (which you mentioned) that "You" (besides at the beginning of a sentence) is only reserved for talkings to ***.

Hi Adam;

It is quite interesting that in English, the first person singular pronoun, I, is capitalized everywhere, even in the middle of a sentence. Thank You very much, Dear AlpheccaStars.
As I said, the world seems to be a little bit too big in that case.
But still I can`t understand if it is "I", why can`t be "You" if you wanna express some respect for anyone?
Thanks for that link, anyway!

What is your region, Adam? Is it an English-speaking nation?

Thanks for asking, Dear Mister Micawber.
It is not a mystery I come from Poland.
In that nation, when we write to anyone respecting some adressees, we always use: Ty, Twój, Ci, Tobie, itd... (You, Yours, to You, etc...)
That`s why I was wondering about "You", but the answer is in the variation of rules, customs and cultures.
Anyway, it`s great to know, what do you think about it.

Hi Adam;

It is a matter of tradition in the use of the language. If I persistently addressed someone else as "You" in English writing they probably would think I was being obsequious.

Thanks, AlpheccaStars, for "a little bit strange for me" perception.
I wrote how it sounded from Polish side.

"If I persistently addressed someone else as "You" in English writing they probably would think I was being obsequious."

Maybe this is some kind of perception of the people living in English-speaking nations.
Obsequious, why?
I think everybody deserves some re
