Kind of products or design that are bad?

What is the adjective or way to describe kind of product or design that they aren't created or done with effort, but finished quickly or rougly , or very commonly available, which is intended to sell at low cost and sell quickly or is even intended to fool people? "Common product"? "General design"?

Doesn't sound correct at all but I cannot think of the adjectives

Inferior product?? But I do not want to comment too much about its quality, it sounds offending, but I want to mean it's nothing special and widely available.

My situation that a designer got paid but he obviously didn't put his effort in designing something on his own but I suspect he copied and merged different cheap templates or free sample from elsewhere at no cost, so what is the way to refer to such design while not sounding too offending?

The design is mediocre, uninspiring, unremarkable, and unexceptional.

"There are some people one would wish to offend," - John Cleese quoting a former chairman of the BBC.

It sounds to me like this guy is asking for it. There is "shoddy", but I'm thinking "fraudulent" and "patent infringement".
