Does kind belong here? I find it odd, even though I receive lots of emails signed off with this phrase.

I look forward to your kind reply. This is not an unusual way to end a business email, but I think it's enough to simply say I look forward to your reply' or even just Thanks . The level of politeness that is expected varies from country to country.
