Kiln vs roast

  • Do you ever use (or have seen) the verb "kiln" to mean "roast"?
One of the online dictionaries I consulted allows this usage (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/kiln) bit I'm interested in your opinions.

Thanks, CJ. I did some research and it looks like most instances of "kilned" or "kiln-roasted" are in reference to malt processing. I guess "kiln" would be very unusual in contexts other than this one.
