Kill the closk -- cool the klusk

US movie, 1950. Manhattan.

Context: A woman, probably a hooker, comes up to one of the customers.

Woman: Hello, **** . So am I.

Waiter: Buying the lady a drink, mister?

The expression that I replaced with **** sounds like "kill the closk" or "cool the klusk"

Any idea of what it can be? Is it any kind of NY slang?

This is the youtube video excerpt (I hope it shows on your screen)..
