Hi.What does it mean that   "White avoids 4.exf5 e4, because his knight would get kicked around.""just that "the knight will be treated badly", or that it  will be subject to repeated strikes with the foot?Thanks in advance!

You might kick something around on the ground, like an empty can, idly kicking it from place to place to kill time. The knight will be forced to move over and over.
