PERSONAL STATEMENT

" One picture is worth than a thousand words"

These words inspire me to determine my dreams, goals and personality. My ultimate goal was finding myself by entering the creative world. Korea came into the picture of mine because of its different designs and architecture. Korea is an advanced country in design and technology. Moreover, it also can be that a rich culture can develop a person's mind and grow leadership. In this sense korea holds a very unique culture and tradition. I belong to a middle-class family with one sibling of whom I am the younger one. My father's income is not sufficient to bear my higher educational cost. So, it is impossible for me to study in a good institution without any scholarship. Korea is an open platform for shaping a successful career. I strongly believe that keeping a positive mental attitude and passion towards any goal, open many possibilities and opportunities and KGSP gave me this opportunity and deeply motivated me to apply for this program.

I completed my undergraduate degree in TMU. During my studies courses like art and design stirred up my interest in the field of visual design. I had to face the pressure also to maintain my position in class. But I believe in myself, I more concentrated on education and learn more as much as I can to update myself. I took all my free time to attend academic activities, training, competition and learn online. From diligence and earnestness brought me under top 5 students. I participated in so many design competition that help me to grow more about this field. I had won the "Second runner up" trophy for my outstanding women empowerment poster. My determination and strong desire made me successful to win the"World Design Competition". It taught me about leadership, self-confidence,decision making, responsibility, work with pressure. Also, it helped me to develop and grow more. In my 4 semester holiday, I applied to be a part of the "TRUE COMPANION" and was privileged to be selected. I worked as a junior graphic designer where I used to make design related to Mental issues which is very common in world. Due to COVID-19 this problem grow more and we help people to make positive poster. I also involved in meetings with senior designers where new strategies and briefing were discussed. The Entire experience exposed me to be a better designer. Then I started working as a freelancer. I work freelancer for "Sark Park pvt." where I handel all the designing part and also work freelance for "kritz kala" new digital t-shirt design company where I work as a main designer. These experience excites me to know more about this field and the importance of design in various industries and company. In the future i think the world will need more about designing field. Therefore, I decided to study postgraduate major in design field.

I am deeply motivated by the prospects of learning the korean rich culture. The KGSP give me the opportunity to have a lifelong experience with the friendly korean people. My country India share same independence with korea. This is the chance for me to understand and live the korean culture of globalism and future development. I choose korea because it is the destination for innovation, technology, designing and tourism. Korea has a long history of painting. This is also a strength for students who want to study graphic design in korea. The field of painting is favoured by users all over the world. Combined with it is the widespread influence of the paintings on the life, on the viewers and the people who enjoy the art. Every field in life today need designing.
