Keys to tasks on translation
Dear teachers, what is your attitude to putting keys (ready answers to tasks on translations professional (technical texts) from native language into English and vice versa).? I think texts for translation shouldn't go with keys, since they are of creative nature and suppose suggested ready versions of translation inadmissible. It looks like as if we began suggesting ready versions for writing essays, compositions on given topics. How is it interpreted in your methods of teaching?

0Without more context, I would say that you shouldn't give the translations along with a translation exercise. Like you mentioned, a translation is a creative enterprise, and where is the creativity in the task if you give out the translation together with the exercise?
