I hung the key on the nail, but it fell down. Not totally clear if the key or the nail fell, but I would assume the key.

I fasted all day yesterday, so, at night, I came over faint and fell down. OK. I would omit the commas around 'at night'. I'm not sure if 'I came over faint' is very commonly used these days. I might say 'I felt faint'. You might say 'in the evening'. If you really mean 'at night', it makes me wonder why you weren't in bed, since you say that you fell down. You can't fall down if you are in bed.
