Kevin, I don`t regret having been involved

Hello.

Are the following grammatically correct?

-"Kevin, I don`t regret having been involved in the first “visit of the ghost", because I believed that a theophany would trigger a change in your self-destructive behavior.", Ben said

-"But I was a coward for letting Bernie blackmail me. I have betrayed your trust.", Ben added looking to Kevin.

Thanks.

Dear AlpheccaStars;

First of all, thanks for your answer.

Ben can not summon gods at will. He was part of a hoax. A group of persons using special effects deceive Kevin, make him believe that a ghost was visiting him.

Thanks!
