keep/stay

Hi,

1.Could you please keep/stay quiet when I study.

Are 'keep' and 'stay' interchangeable here? Is there any difference between them?

Can I use 'while' or 'as' instead of 'when' here? What is their difference if yes?

2.He fainted while he was
excercising.

Can I use 'when' or 'as' instead of ' while' here? Is there any difference between them?

3.He never stays angry for long.

Can I use 'keep' instead of 'stay' here? What is the difference between them?

Thank you very much.

Stay: Means the current state is the goal. ex. Stay here, meaning you are here, this is the destination, non-action request
Keep: Means to activly prevent future change. ex. Keep quiet, action may be required to prevent noise in the future
