Keep your eyes averted from...

Hi

Is this sentence natural? Also, what will be the opposite of averted in the same context? Fixed? Focused?

How long will you keep your eyes averted from the reality?
How long will you keep your eyes fixed/focused on the reality?

Thanks,

Tom

May I know the difference?

Just the usual one with the definite article: "the reality" refers to some particular facts about a particular situation that has been mentioned in the context, while "reality" can have a more general scope.
